Hand Moistiriser donation for NHS

Solid Hand Moistiriser Donations for NHS staff

5 weeks now, we are now stuck home. But safe and well. It is sometimes hard but usefull to let NHS manage with patients to care.

How came the idea to make for donations

I stopped all my making sessions but I miss my customers and making session a lot. In the meantime, all ingredients previously bought for the scheduled sessions are on my shelves.  At the same time, I was thinking about all the hard work first line staff. I am also thinking about barrier gestures included frequent hand washed. And finally I was thinking about how washing hands very frequently and wearing gloves could damage their skin hands.
All these thoughts made me decide to make some solid hand moisturiser to donate to NHS staff.

Solid hand Moituriser – My Slow Experience

Since the idea came, I could’t wait the moment when my husband could be there to do homeschooling and take care of children. As soon as this moment has happenned I just rushed to my lab and take all ingredients to make the little hand moisturiser.
If these little things could bring a bit of comfort after a day work, I would be very happy.

And then making session could start

So, the morning came, when I found the time to make them. I gathered all the ingredients, organic, natural as usual, to start to make the soothing balm.

Here, the ingredients used :

60g of Organic Shea Butter
20g of Organic Almond or Jojoba Oil
10g of Bee Wax
10g of Arrow Root or Corn Flour
3-4 drops of Lavender Essential Oil

Then, I empowered my kids in packaging and wrapping. They were very proud to contribute and being involved in the donation as well.
